The Driving Standards Agency (DSA) has today issued a warning to LGV and PCV learner drivers to avoid ‘copycat’ websites.
Similar to the costly broker websites we report on as part of our commitment to support quality, reputable commercial transport training, these websites offer a test booking service at a premium rate, meaning students pay an additional fee (on top of the standard test fees) for using a third party agent. Students need to be aware that they will not receive any additional benefits or fast track services when using these websites.
The new Chief Executive of the DSA, Alastair Peoples said: “It’s unacceptable that some of these websites try to trick learner drivers into paying an extra fee to book their driving test.”
