Nationwide training provider, Scania Driver Training has announced the acquisition of 8 new trucks to its driver development fleet.
In a press release issued earlier this week, the firm has confirmed it has invested in 4 rigid and 4 articulated vehicles in order to meet growing customer demand and provide students with state of the art training equipment.
In addition to practical driver training, the firm also offers Driver CPC courses and a number of bespoke training courses including ‘Train the Trainer’ options. Scania operates a flexible approach to training by providing training at either the operator’s premises or direct at one of their UK training centres.
Mark Agnew, Driver Development Manager for Scania (Great Britain) Ltd said; “Driver Training is a key element within Scania’s product portfolio today, and as such we constantly strive to improve and develop our service by investing in vehicles, instructors and the infrastructure which supports them.”
He added; “”This latest investment follows our securing of on-going training agreements with a number of high profile national operators. In addition to fulfilling their needs, our enlarged fleet has been created to also assure existing and new customers of the best possible training experience.”
